THE PLURALITY OF GODS, Chapter 12 of Mysteries of Creation Episode 691   Pages 117 to 121   Another problem in the creation account will be discussed in this chapter–whether it was one or two or more individuals who played a part in the creation of this earth. Some scriptures declare there are three Gods, while a few indicate there is only one God. From the Book of Mormon come these confusing statements: . . . every thing shall be restored to its perfect frame . . . and be arraigned before the bar of Christ the Son, and God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, which is one Eternal God, to be judged according to their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil. (Alma 11:44) . . . to sing ceaseless praises with the choirs above, unto the Father, and unto the son, and unto the Holy Ghost, which are one God, in a state of happiness which hath no end. (Mormon 7:7) And from the Bible there are similar passages, such as: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. (I John 5:7-8) For centuries, these three Gods have been called the Trinity.
