The Point of Pentecost

Wind filled the house, fire rested on disciples, and foreign languages carried God's mighty works to people gathered from many nations. Pentecost was a one-time turning point, not an experience to recreate. These signs confirmed Jesus' promise that the Holy Spirit had come to change hearts and equip the church to witness among all nations.
