This episode focuses on a lesser-known figure: Nana Serwah Tackie, a priestess from the village of Asamankama. When a spiritual prophecy warned that the Ashanti army would be defeated if their commanders carried silver bullets, Serwah Tackie and her followers melted down their jewelry and trade goods to forge silver bullets. At the Battle of Obuasi, these bullets proved ineffective against British rifles, and Serwah Tackie was captured and exiled to the Seychelles.
