Wow, that’s such an important distinction. Being sorry is our natural response to doing something bad, but repenting is both being sorry and turning away from sin. It’s a lot easier to be sorry than it is to repent, isn’t it? In today’s message, Pastor Mark will teach you about the grace that’s found in repentance. Have you found yourself in a pattern of being sorry, but not repenting? The final trials of Jesus have great examples of the difference between the two. It may not sound like a huge deal at first, but the difference is what separated the apostle Peter from Judas. One ended up in heaven and the other did not.
