The Politics of Protest

Nationwide protest action is expected tomorrow in South Africa; in opposition to President Jacob Zuma’s cabinet reshuffle. Civil society and opposition political parties are said to be holding various protest rallies in the country. However, politically motivated protests are not new in South Africa.
