The Poppies | Bedtime Stories

This story tells of a rich but sleepless king who offers half his kingdom for a cure. A deceitful stranger accepts, uses magical poppies to put the king into an enchanted sleep, hides him within the overgrown plants, and takes over the entire kingdom. Later, a young man arrives – the one originally meant to help the king before being robbed of his own sleep-inducing flower by the same stranger.
