Roberto’s scholarship is focused on three primary areas: the rights of ethnic and sexual minorities; the public/private distinction in labor and employment law; and the scholarship of teaching and learning. He is widely published, including co-authoring casebooks in administrative law and employment discrimination law. Roberto has served as chairman of the board of the ACLU of Colorado, chair of the Association of American Law Schools Labor & Employment Relations Section, and secretary of the Latino/a Critical Legal Theory Association.  Harry Katz is the Jack Sheinkman Professor and the Director of the Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He is the former Kenneth F. Kahn Dean of the ILR School and an interim Provost of Cornell University. He is a Scholar Fellow of the Labor and Employment Relations Association and a Past President of the International Labor and Employment Relations Association.  He is also the author of a long list of books and articles, including the most widely used textbook relating to collective bargaining and industrial relations.
