Okay, I've had this terrible head cold all weekend. Well since Friday actually Friday was really rough But I've been taking this The stuff that you make crystal meth with what is it? Oh, Sudafed. I've been taking Sudafed and I say that because when I went to Walgreens To get some Sudafed which my doctor used to give me when I was young It's been a gazillion years since I've had Sudafed.

I mean it's got to be 40 years since I've had Sudafed I'm guessing yeah, but I had this really bad head cold and I Found out, you know, you don't need to go to the doctor to get Sudafed So I go to Walgreens. I said where's the Sudafed? Oh, you got to go to see the pharmacist I go to see the pharmacist and they said I want some Sudafed and they said we got it right back here by the thing and I Said great. We're gonna need your driver's license.

We're gonna need the birth certificates of all of your children Could you possibly draw blood from two of them and let's see what else we're going to need? Oh, yeah, we're gonna have to do a full FBI investigation on you as well What the hell are you talking about? You know, it wasn't that bad They had to have my license and I had to sign this little thing on the computer screen saying I wasn't going to misuse this product Excuse me. I'm dumber than a damn door.

How would I misuse this product? I my heads plugged up I can't breathe. I'm sneezing, you know, I it's I can't sleep. I want I know that she explains They they use it the druggies use it to make crystal math with I said how the hell did they do that?

And what is crystal math? But I didn't want to know I just signed all their other things and I've been taking that every 12 hours And I'm getting close to where I have to take it again But nothing's running yet, but I'm I'm better But I've been spending most of the weekend in bed And resting and relaxing and drinking plenty of fluids and I all of a sudden Through all of the sleep and and meditation and all of these things I Decided to totally and completely change the way I plan things and I've talked about planning things on this podcast a million times And I've told you over and over again how I do it. I'm gonna do it differently You are allowed to change your mind you get new information you're allowed to change your mind Hi, I'm Michael gross at this Well, this is the daily grateful and even though I still have this incredibly weird head cold I'm full of energy tonight. I don't know why and I just before I walk in here my son left these Chesters fries ranch flavored something or others and I had like four of them and they were good.

I don't know man I'm not as epic. I don't I just I'm never hungry, but I needed to chew on something anyway It has always been my philosophy to not to never plan more than three things a day and as of late I've just been planning one thing a day and to rarely make long-range plans because I'm old and even when I was young I just rarely make long-range plans and now I've changed it. I'm changing it. I'm changing it There's a company and I have nothing to do with them.

I just sent them $35 Which is expensive as hell for what is called a mid-year planner weekly planner and it you open it up And it has you know, it opens up to we have two pages and it has each day on there for the week with about four or five Things on each page that you can plan and that you can just you know add to it And and I'm probably still gonna stick with one or two things to do a day But it'll probably be better for my brain Which you know is I it will be better for my brain to be able to look at a weekend advance and to be able to sit down on a Sunday Evening except I won't be doing it this evening because I just ordered the damn thing today and it'll be here on Tuesday So maybe I'll start all this next week. I don't know chaos for this coming week, but anyhow Anyhow, I you just you can just set up I can look at this thing It's sitting it'll be sitting right here at my desk in my studio and I can look down on it and I can see what's happening for the week I'll be able to say oh On Friday. I've got my secret men's club meeting that I go to oh should I have mentioned that because it is a secret There's nothing diabolical about it. It's a bunch of guys getting together to ethically talk about relationships That is what we do and we sit outside It's at this great sandwich shop, but it's out right out in front of the sandwich shop is this very high-end Restaurant and we will sometimes before that our meeting starts We will sit there and watch all the cars drive up the cars that cost more than my house do and the guys Will valet park them and I don't know why but that's fun.

It's just fun and it's an Italian restaurant I can't afford to go, but I don't know it's just but anyhow I can look and I can see the whole week planned out that way and it even has a little thing like for the evening say that on Wednesday evening I wanted to take my favorite ex-wife Diane out to get Ribs which actually sounds like a pretty good deal to go out and get ribs But and this will just tell you where my mind is going now and as much as I would love to take her out and get ribs And we just might maybe we'll go to sunny so they have they have acceptable ribs the best ribs I've ever had were made or are made by my third ex-wife who I don't talk to or you know as little as boss I just But she makes the best damn ribs in the world. I'm just telling you she makes it the best damn ribs in the world When I was married to her people would come to our house and they would have her ribs and they never wanted to leave They just wanted to move right in and And Anyway, I'm not better, but anyhow This is what I want to do. I want to outline my week like you know I'm in an adulting mode easy mode less chaos more more breaks if you outline the week, okay? You don't have to say what did I forget to do this week because I constantly do that I constantly say what the hell did I not do this week?

So if I have this thing sitting here on the desk, I'm not gonna carry it with me I'm just gonna have it on the desk and I'm just gonna outline the week, okay? I need to get I need to go see my Attorney that does all of my Wills and crap. I don't do wills. I do trust but I need to go see that person this week So I'll put Thursday go see you know and all of those things just doing all I just want my week I want to be able to look at my week instead of just having it rolling around in my head because I'm one of these people I am are you this way?

I know so I can tell somebody hey could you come over like on Tuesday at four o'clock and they say sure It's four o'clock on Tuesday. They're there and someone says that to me and I say sure if I don't write it down It's never gonna happen. I will totally forget my short-term memory is so bad I you know just I will be driving down the road and I'll take a call and they'll say could you come and look at these plans on Wednesday after noon I say absolutely and I'm driving down the road and I say as soon as I get to where I stop I will write this down on a piece of paper and then I'll have it But I never do and then I forget it's it's to quote my grandson. It's ooh disgusting so Just seeing my schedule laid out in front of me is going to help You know, it's it's gonna help me do a lot of things It's gonna help me say no to things because people are constantly wanting my time and attention They're constantly wanting that and if I have the week I'm sorry the week is all planned out on Tuesday I can't come because I'm doing this or on Thursday.

I can't come because I'm doing You know, I I can say no, and I don't have next week schedule. So I can't make it next, you know I that's how I do that. That's how I will do that So I think it's gonna be better and I hope it is something that you might want to adopt But the company is pay beer, which is a French company I believe and I pay way too much money if I pay $35, but it's literally it's not eight and a half by 11 It's it's eight and a half by five and a half or whatever. You know half of that It's small and I like that So it's very manageable It will be able to lay on my desk right here and I can just put things in it when I come in here to ponder my existence And all of that.

You know what I'm gonna do now. That's podcast is over. I'm gonna do it I do every time I come in here to record a podcast on this wonderful beautiful Monday Until my nose starts running and then I'll take my medicine, but I'm going to I have a really cool road caster Which is an audio interface which I can mix music with and do all kinds of stuff And I'm gonna go on to this interweb thing And I'm gonna listen to some music and just calm soul And if I have my little planner here, I might just plan my weekend, but I don't so I won't but I will next week Have a terrific day everybody. We will see you tomorrow
