Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it" - Genesis‬ ‭28:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Bible Text: ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭ ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Daniel‬ ‭9:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ 2. ‭‭In the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. INSPIRATION: Jesus gives a parable of the lost coin and tells us how happy the owner was to discover the coin after a thorough search (Luke 15: 8-9). For me, the search was not as important as the light introduced to facilitate her discovery. The point is, discoveries are difficult where light is absent. The greatest forms of discoveries are revelatory, where light is revealed and impacted. Jacob woke up to a revelation that changed his life forever. Except you operate from a revelatory stand, you might get messed up, or you might stay prolonged in a status you've outgrown. Except for Jacob's revelation, he would have missed a divine moment; until light came, Daniel and his people would have remained in captivity, even when the time was due. There're different media by which we can have discoveries, but do not undermine revelatory information; do not neglect reading books! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Books are resources reserved for our explorative adventure. Books carry their own revelations. Learn to read. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please open me up to every form of discovery that matter to my destiny. Give me revelations of things revealed according to Deuteronomy 29: 29, in Jesus name.
