INSPIRATION: Any discovery that doesn't force or motivate you to a new cause of action isn't worth your consideration! When Jacob woke up from his trance that helped him to discovered where God is, his perception and reactions changed afterwards. Daniel's discovery was through books. You'll never know how much is kept or hidden from you when you don't have a passion for reading. Reading liberates the mind, equips you with tools and directs you on the path to follow. Now, Jacob discovered by revelation, while Daniel discovered by books. Does it imply these are the only means by which discoveries can be made? No. Examples abound in scriptures where angelic visits, prophetic pointers, consultations, counsel, etc helped people discover God's agenda and their own assignments. Graciously, we've been blessed with the Holy Spirit, the greatest revelator of all time as nothing is hidden from Him. Are there grey areas you desire clarity on? Trust the Holy Spirit to guide! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: "...but God has revealed them by His Spirit" (1 Cor. 2: 10). You want to gain knowledge of deep things? Read this verse again in full and stay on it. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me not to be stuck while trying to figure out life's courses to take. Reveal to me what I should do and how I ought to do it.
