THE POWER OF GOD'S MEDICINE

Proverbs 4:20 (KJV) My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.  Every Christian has access to God’s prescription for healing – His powerful Word. Just as a doctor prescribes medicine to cure our physical ailments, God prescribes His Word to heal our bodies and souls. His Word is filled with promises of healing and restoration for whatever ails us. When sickness dares to invade your body, believe His Word and exercise faith in His healing promises. Faith requires action. Just as medicine needs to be taken daily for full effectiveness, so should God’s Word be taken daily. Meditate on the Word, particularly scriptures that relate directly to the condition you’re dealing with. Confess those scriptures over your body, and act on your belief by doing what you couldn’t do before.  God’s healing power is not a remote possibility but a reality ready to unfold in your life. As you take God’s medicine, no longer look for the symptoms or pain. Instead, look for your healing and live in the radiant health He desires for you.
