The Power of Now

from Sense of Soul · host Shanna Vavra

Today on Sense of Soul podcast we have another one of my dear friends with me, Dixie Chubb. She is a Massage Therapist and Reiki Master who has touch many lives through her work. Our paths crossed years ago, when I had the pleasure of working with her at a local spa here in Colorado. Years ago I had recommended the book The New Earth, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle to Dixie and like it was life changing for myself, it was for Dixie as well. Which led her to explore the concepts of stoicism, non-attachment, and the power of NOW. Dixie’s journey has been one of self-discovery and growth, and she has been kind enough to share her story with us on today’s episode. Dixie shares losing her mother at a young age, and reflects on the beautiful example of love and kindness her mother demonstrated in her life, and what an inspiration she was. Over the years Dixie has found many tools that have helped her to heal, grow and bloom over the years, and she hopes that her story can touch others in the same way. If you’re interested in contacting Dixie, looking for a fabulous massage therapist or Reiki practitioner in Denver Metro area, you can email her at [email protected].
