THE POWER OF PERSISTENT PRAYER!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” — Luke 18:1 (NKJV) Message: Jesus teaches us the importance of persistent prayer, encouraging us not to give up when answers seem delayed. In Luke 18, He shares the parable of the persistent widow who kept seeking justice from an unjust judge. Her perseverance eventually led to a breakthrough, illustrating how much more our loving and just God will respond to those who seek Him in faith. Prayer is not just about asking God for things—it is about building a deep and consistent relationship with Him. Sometimes, answers don’t come immediately, but persistent prayer strengthens our faith, aligns our hearts with God's will, and deepens our trust in His timing. When we face challenges, it’s easy to become discouraged, but Jesus reminds us to keep praying and not to lose heart. God hears every prayer, and He answers in ways that are best for us—whether immediately, over time, or in ways we don’t expect. Today, ask yourself: Am I persistent in my prayer life, or do I give up when answers seem delayed? How can I develop a habit of consistent and faithful prayer? Do I trust God's timing even when I don’t see immediate results? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for reminding me of the power of persistent prayer. Help me to remain steadfast in seeking You, even when answers seem far away. Strengthen my faith to trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom. Let my prayer life be a reflection of my deep reliance on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
