She is expanding her reach by offering both local and remote workshops and art retreats.Gena's travels to natural areas have deeply imprinted upon her, influencing her use of acrylics, watercolors, oils, and drawing materials to create pieces that resonate with emotional and spiritual energy. Her work has been showcased in numerous group shows, online exhibits, and private collections across the United States and Europe, including the gallery at Inspired Minds Art Center in Buda, Texas.Throughout her career, Gena has garnered multiple accolades, including the University Outstanding Senior Artist Award, 1st place at the Art Brawl in 2019 and 2023, and Best in Show and 3rd place at the Buda Plein Air Festival 2021.When she's not creating art, Gena enjoys outdoor adventures, intellectual and spiritual conversations, spending time with her two kids, and experimenting with food.
