She earned her Master’s degree in Childhood and Special Education (Birth–Grade 2) from St. John’s University in 2022. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Curriculum and Instruction, pursuing a PhD in Education with a focus in Philosophy of Education. She is an adjunct professor and the creator of the GUIDE Framework (Simpson, 2024), a structured approach to using generative AI to support student learning. In addition to her academic work, she is a Residential Family Group Daycare owner and a Master Life Coach.
