Rewind episode: Known to many as, "Ms. Cindy," Cindy Tawiah is the creator and owner of the Diva By Cindy hair care system and its philanthropic efforts, The Diva Project. Inspired by a chemistry teacher, at the age of sixteen, Cindy began experimenting with making beauty products. Her love of chemistry never left her, and in 2007, Cindy created the Diva By Cindy hair care product line. Prior to creating the Diva By Cindy hair care system, Cindy worked as a registered nurse for 13 years. Her bedside manner transcended the traditional medical field and became the impetus for her entrepreneurial efforts. Cindy is passionate about women and serving their whole being, and it shows through her outreach. Cindy created Diva By Cindy products to enrich and inspire women by giving them a superb product that transforms their lives by stopping the hair from shedding and breaking and stimulates healthy hair growth. Ultimately, Cindy seeks to heal, restore, and transform women. One way she achieves this mission is through The Diva Project. This brand has been featured all over the world in venues such as the Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport, Black Enterprise Magazine, the Drew Barrymore Show, and in Ghana, Accra. Cindy Tawiah has also created vending machines with Diva by Cindy hair care and skin products that have helped to transform how these products are bought and sold in the marketplace.
