THE POWER OF YIELDEDNESS TO THE HOLY SPIRIT

📖 Scripture “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” — Philippians 2:13 Devotional Message One of the greatest secrets of a victorious Christian life is yieldedness to the Holy Spirit. Yieldedness means willingly surrendering your thoughts, desires, plans, and actions to God's control. It is allowing the Holy Spirit to have the final say in every area of your life. The Holy Spirit is not merely a visitor in the believer's life; He is our Helper, Teacher, Guide, and Empowerer. However, His power is most evident in the life of a person who is fully yielded to Him. God works through surrendered vessels. Jesus Himself demonstrated perfect yieldedness when He declared, “Not my will, but thine, be done” (Luke 22:42). Because He submitted completely to the Father's will, He fulfilled His divine assignment and became the Savior of the world. Yieldedness allows the Holy Spirit to transform your character, direct your decisions, and empower your ministry. When you yield, fear gives way to faith, confusion gives way to clarity, and weakness gives way to divine strength. Many believers desire God's power but resist God's process. They want the results of the Spirit without surrendering to the Spirit. Yet true spiritual power flows from a life that is submitted to God's leadership. The Holy Spirit will never force His way into your decisions. He invites your cooperation. Every day presents opportunities to yield—to obey His promptings, follow His guidance, and trust His wisdom. The more yielded you become, the more the fruit of the Spirit becomes visible in your life. Love, joy, peace, patience, wisdom, and spiritual authority begin to flourish. Today, place your life afresh in God's hands. Let the Holy Spirit lead your thoughts, words, actions, and decisions. A yielded life is a powerful life. Today, Ask Yourself Is there any area of my life that I have not fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit? Prayer Almighty Father, I yield my heart, mind, plans, and future to You. Holy Spirit, take full control of my life and lead me according to God's perfect will. Help me to trust Your guidance, obey Your voice, and walk in Your power daily.
