The power to overcome the world through deep fellowship with the Lord now, in the last days
from English Service - WGM Church
1-16-2022 Weekly Messages Meditation of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: Song of Solomon 1:1-9 Sermon Title: The power to overcome the world through deep fellowship with the Lord now, in the last days As Jesus foretold, this is the last of the last days. Voices of sorrow are coming from all over the world. Long ago, after Noah entered the ark, God opened the windows of the deep of heaven and made it rain forty days and forty nights. The whole world was flooded with the flood of judgment. However, Noah and his family, who listened to and obeyed the Lord’s voice in deep fellowship with God, could not see or hear the devastating scene outside the ark because the ark was hidden from the world. They could see the glory of God through a window one cubit down from the top of the third floor of the ark. Those who were in the ark could escape God’s judgment in the peace God gave them, and they could have fellowship with God while waiting for God’s judgment to pass by. Even in the world we live in now, we are able to know spiritually that God’s judgment is already being given except for the true bride of Christ who lives in fellowship with Jesus Christ, which is like an ark. Although the whole world is increasingly entering and suffering from God’s judgment, Christians who are in spiritual fellowship with Christ enjoy righteousness, peace, and joy (Romans 14:17) in the kingdom of God, and the person whom Christ comes to take home can wait for the day in peace. The Holy Ghost, through King Solomon, made a song between him and the Sulemite woman , speaking in advance of the beautiful scene of Christians who received the Holy Ghost exchanging spiritual songs in prayer in spiritual communion with the coming King, Christ Jesus. . The Shulemmite woman who loved Solomon said, ” Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine. 3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.” (Sol 1:2-3) It is a bold confession that he had a very close relationship with King Solomon. Christians who have received the Holy Ghost and have been engaged to Christ should always maintain a very close relationship, in constant and deep prayer, as betrothed to Jesus Christ, looking forward to the day of His return and marriage. More than anything that gives temporary joy like wine, it is to confess that the love of the Lord cannot be compared with wine giving temporary happiness The woman of Sullum said, ” Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.” (Sol 1: 4) That’s right! he Christians engaged to Christ can ask to be led into the Lord’s room. They want to go into a room and have fellowship with the Lord alone. The Shulem woman said to the daughters of Jerusalem who looked down on her to make fun of her, saying that she had turned black, saying that she was still beautiful, but about the reason, saying, “Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: .” (Sol 1 :6) said. Christians who have deep fellowship with the Lord are telling the truth that whenever they have a deep fellowship with Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, their sins are to be exposed and they shall inevitably become spiritually black. But carnal Christians, daughters of Jerusalem who cannot have fellowship with Jesus, cannot know this wonderful grace that is accomplished in fellowship with the Lord. This is because they are only enjoying a carnal life, as if they could not even hold the hand of the Lord they love. Finally, the Sulyan woman is surprised that she has lost acquaintance with King Solomon for a while, she confesses, that she has turned herself into a lost sheep. This confession was also the confession of Christians who for a short time neglected to pray and lost fellowship with the Lord: “Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?“(Sol. 1:7) King Solomon is finally speaking to the Shulem woman. Christians should be able to hear the voice of the Lord in prayer: “If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents.” (Sol 1:8). The Lord is saying , what a most beautiful Christians who have become his own brides. What He sees is not what they are now, but He is foreseeing how they shall be transformed into Himself in the day of Christ in the future. As King David confessed, “I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness..” (Psalm 17:15) Looking forward to this time, the Lord foresaw the time as said, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for. (Hebrews 11:1). that you are The Lord has been caring for thousands and thousands of sheep over the past thousands years. He was taking care of the flocks of the prophets, including Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and David from Abel. Also, all of them were fed the goats the Lord had given them. Likewise, he is saying that those who are brides of Christ today must do the things the Lord has given each of them, like the goats of the Lord. The young goats is the things heard from the voice of the Lord in prayer in the midst of the fellowship with the Lord asking to do little things for the Lord one by one. If we do not have fellowship with the Lord through deep prayer, we cannot hear the Lord’s voice. Carnal Christians, like the daughters of Jerusalem, have no choice but to meet the Lord who suddenly appears one day after not feeding even a single goat for the rest of their lives because they do not hear the voice of the Lord. God spoke through the prophet Jeremiah: ” Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.‘” (Jeremiah 6:16). Searching the God’s Words, Christians must realize what the good way God is saying and go on that way. Prayer without God’s Word makes us fail to hear His voice. King Solomon praised her Sulemite woman and said that she is compared to a company of horses of Pharaoh’s chariots. A company of horses goes to war and never fears and never backs down. This can be compared to what Christians like horses fighting like horses in spiritual warfare. God told Job about the horses: “Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder? 20 Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible. 21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men. 22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword. 23 The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield. 24 He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet. 25 He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting..” (Job 39:19-25) The times and the seasons of the Day of the Rapture, when the Lord Jesus Christ appears to take His bride to heaven, is detailed in the Word of God. Now is the time to be awake and pray to restore deep fellowship with the Lord, and to be saved. Amen! Hallelujah!
