It is the virtue which can endure, not simply with resignation, but with a vibrant hope. Welcome Faith Testing Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature  and complete, not lacking anything.  (James 1:2-4) Pray for One Another’s Perseverance (Colossians 1:9-12) Learn from Older Men and Women You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.2 Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.  (Titus 2:1-2) Be Encouraged through Scripture For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance  taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.  (Romans 15:4) Consider Christ’s Example (Hebrews 12:1-2)
