Powerful – strong. Effective – energy. Key - Righteous. 4. We pray humanly and earnestly (v17-18) Human Being – homeopathos – feelings, passions, weakness. Earnestly – he prayed with prayer (desired with desire) Not superhuman but supernatural results! 5. We pray and act to bring strays back (v19-20) Is prayer your first and focussed response?
