Prayer is a shared and common experience for most people. For those of us in evangelization, it is necessary for us to spend quality time in prayer. We cannot give what we don't have, and we need to pray to get the graces we need to reach out to others. Andre, Angele and myself, Gerhard, have a conversation on prayer, in particular the prayer of praise and how fundamental praise is to a healthy prayer life.

We often see prayer as a vending machine, I put prayers in, and I get things in return
When we approach prayer as a dialogue, it becomes more attractive and motivating
the duty of prayer is there to help us stay committed to our relationship with Christ
There is a battle of prayer
Praise recognizes that God is God and that we are children of God
