The Prayers of A Coach

We Want To Hear From YOU!A story broke some time ago in regards to a coach being reprimanded for praying on the 50-yard line at the conclusion of a football game.  The supreme court ruled in the coach's favor citing that he had a religious right to pray.  And I thank God for this ruling and that no further reprimand was bestowed upon the coach.However, yes we as believers should be happy that another believer was persecuted for the act of praying, but we also need to use what He went through as a lesson, for us to do better, be better and elevate our exaltation of faith.As believers, we cannot allow ourselves to become so consumed with human rights that it overrules the righteousness of God.  Proverbs 14:12 “ There is a way which seemeth right unto man, but the end thereof are the ways of death”  The coach praying, believers saw no problem with it, saw no reason for ridicule or reprimand, but there is further consideration we as believers must consider.  The righteousness of God doesn’t discriminate and the gift of free will given to every man and woman by God allows people to even choose to sin against God, blasphemous, not believe, or even curse God. Yes, there are consequences for the action and reactions we choose that violate the mandate of God but the choice is still extended to all mankind.What I am saying is if our government, institutions, and organizations allow Christians to pray, then they have to allow everyone regardless of their religious beliefs pray, and even worship.  Some of you, like myself, were raised to pray, and not shield it publicly, and I get it, however, when others are involved we have to according to the righteousness of God consider others.  Philippians 2:4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others.Now we are not to bow to the interests of unbelievers or this world but we must be aware of the interest of other and take into consideration that God extended unbelievers that same free will he extended us.  1 Peter 2: 4-6  As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious,  you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.As believers, God takes us from glory to glory and as we grow in our faith we should be also growing in our wisdom and how to strategically combat the ways of the wicked recognizing that the wicked will attempt to use the ways of the righteous to exalt wickedness.  But we serve a God who knew these times would come and His Word prepared us for this. In Matthew chapter 6, the Word of God advises us not to get caught up praying publicly because it does not validate or strengthen our faith or prayers. In verse 6 “when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you”Support the showwww.BibleDeliverance.org
