The Prey

Lead single from Treasurefruit debut "Poisonous Dwellers of the Desert" An upbeat alternative rock cut with female vocals, searing electric guitar solos and ferocious hooks. LYRICS: The Prey Headin’ out on the open range Bound for pleasure and bound for pain He needs a reason To try and make it home Some sort of reason To walk the night alone By the moonlight he sees her face Full of beauty and full of grace He needs a reason To try and make it home Some sort of reason To walk the night alone The summer sun is setting deeper in the sky Soon you’ll belong to all the creatures of the night Don’t make a difference if you think you know your way If you’re not the predator then you must be the prey Go ahead open up that door But what you’re askin’s a slight bit more Than I am willing To give without a fight More than I’m willing To let in tonight The summer sun is setting deeper in the sky Soon you’ll belong to all the creatures of the night Don’t make a difference if you think you know your way If you’re not the predator than you must be the prey The summer sun is setting deeper in the sky Soon you’ll belong to all the creatures of the night Don’t make a difference if you think you know your way If you’re not the predator than you must be the prey Artist: Treasurefruit Album: Poisonous Dwellers of the Desert Notes: Recorded at The Scratchin' Post Studios in Scottsdale, AZ www.treasurefruit.com
