The story begins with the tale of Dena, a poor oil seller who lives in a city in India. Dena is struggling to make ends meet, and his business is not doing well. He has borrowed money from a money lender named Lena, who is known for being ruthless in collecting debts.  Dena's greed grows, and he decides to go back to the island to collect more rubies. He is joined by the king, the minister, and the money lender, all of whom are also driven by greed. They collect as many rubies as they can, but their greed ultimately leads to their downfall.The tales for today's episode were narrated by Sheerali Biju and edited and rewritten for Parikatha Podcast by Amar Vyas for gaathastory.
