The Princess Anne Interview.

How do you turn different definitions of love, Greek mythology, global sounds, keyboards, and expressive guitar into one musical world? On this episode of Vigilantes Radio Live, Coach Dini sits down with singer-songwriter and keyboardist Princess Anne to explore “Eternity,” her collaboration with guitarist Steve Shredder, and the creative process behind two albums released within the same year—Phoenix Crest and Amphitrite Rising. “Eternity,” from Amphitrite Rising, approaches romance through an unusual lens: imagining the qualities of a “perfect man” from the perspectives of multiple women. Princess Anne breaks down how those perspectives became a song, why eternity became its emotional destination, and how her trained vocal range interacts with Steve Shredder’s expressive guitar work and the track’s shimmering production. The conversation also goes inside her long-running creative partnership with Steve, including how two musicians with distinct voices make room for surprise, disagreement, and musical ideas capable of communicating without lyrics. Coach Dini and Princess Anne explore the decision to release two albums in one year, the creative differences between Phoenix Crest and Amphitrite Rising, and how time spent in Greece allowed mythology, landscape, and cultural stories to influence the latter project. They also discuss why the keyboard remains the soul of Princess Anne’s creative process, how international instruments and sounds continue expanding her musical vocabulary, and why examining different human perspectives has become a recurring thread throughout her songwriting. From ancient stories to modern production, this conversation is ultimately about what happens when an artist refuses to separate storytelling, musicianship, atmosphere, and human connection.
