And … and … if you are a Jesus follower, it will put you in a spot with God. Remember those verses we just read. He says, “In your anger, don’t sin.” “Don’t sin by letting your anger control you.” “Get rid of bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, slander, all types of evil behavior.” It’s not that you should never be angry. Guys, if you are never angry, there is something wrong with you. It’s that you don’t have to let your anger control you. Following your feelings, following your emotions will inevitably distance you from God. And guys, hanging on to your anger … letting it morph into bitterness … is a sin, a sin against God … for a reason." Stephen "Doc" Pattison
