Hi, welcome to on the daily season two, a podcast focusing on authentic and acoustic entrepreneurship. My name is Danielle McCleary. I am your host. Y'all, I just left a nine-year fitness career to pursue full-time entrepreneurship, so I am in the trenches with you, but I got big dreams of being a millionaire and helping other people to become millionaires as well.

So together, we're going from stuck to unstoppable, and I'm so excited that you're here for this ride. Let's freaking go. Hello, on the daily family, welcome back to the show. It is a very rainy, cold day in Austin today, and I am absolutely loving it.

I know that that is an unpopular opinion with most Texans. Y'all are lizards and you enjoy your heat. I enjoy seasons, so I'm very excited to see the change in the weather. And I don't know, I always just feel like whenever the rain comes or whenever it gets colder, that there's a really beautiful energy that comes in with it.

And it's like a clearing and a cleansing energy, so that when it passes, the air is always clearer. The, you know, the vibration of the people around me is always higher, and I really feel that. So, you know, and I think a lot of people, when the rain comes, they like fight against it and they just like automatically get into mopey moods and like, meh, it's raining. And they turn into, you know, bah humbug.

It's the same as if, you know, women are in their cycle and they always try, like women will always try to like work harder during their cycle. And it's like that is not the way your natural body wants to move. And why fight against it, you know, just work with where you're at. And I feel the same thing about the rain.

Like when the rain comes, it's an invitation to slow. It's an invitation to notice more. It's an invitation to kind of, I think, flow more into feminine energy. So I'm taking it and I'm grateful for it, and I'm really excited that the weather is the way it is today because it, I don't know, it always sparks a lot of creativity in me.

Anyway, okay, so I have decided to move my podcasting masterclass to instead of the 19th, which would have been this week, I have decided to move it to, what day is that? The 26th. So Wednesday, the 26th is when the live podcasting masterclass will be. So obviously if you've already purchased a ticket for that, don't worry, like you'll just tune in the next week.

And if for some reason you can't make the live, there's a recording, so you're good. But it'll give anybody who wants more time to register for the live masterclass, it'll give you more opportunity to purchase a ticket to that. And my podcast producer, he's also my business partner for HypeU Media that's launching soon. He will be on at the end of the call to answer questions and to talk about the production side of podcasting.

So really good things that you want to be there for. Tickets are $149. That price is going to go up because after the class is over, I'm going to resell it as an evergreen course and the price will be higher. So I highly recommend that if that is something that you want, that you get in on it now and get the live and get the Q&A and all the things.

I am very quickly filling up my one-on-one mentorships and in the new year, my prices will go up. And that's for a lot of reasons. You know, I really love my routine and I really love the life I'm building for myself. And if I'm going to give people my one-on-one time, it's going to have to be special.

And I offer a lot of different ways that you can work with me now, especially in the new year, there'll be more courses and more things. So one-on-one mentorship will, the value of that will go up significantly. So if one-on-one mentorship is something that you are looking for, you know, treat yourself this holiday season and work with a coach. And if you want to work with me, you can always slide into my DMs and I am always available to answer your questions.

I'm not going to convince you of anything, but I am here to answer your questions. So danielle__onthedaily, you can slide into my DMs and we can chat. And yeah, that's what I'm offering right now. I want to give you three pieces of content that you could post today to promote your business.

Three pieces of content really quick. Number one, you can post a day in the life. No one's going to buy from someone that they don't trust. No one's going to buy from someone that they don't feel like they know.

So if you are looking to grow your business and grow your client base and grow your network, you can post about your day in the life. Post about your family, post about how you're feeling, post about your doubts, your fears, post about what you're eating, post about, you know, what your, what your plan is for the day, like your daily agenda. Basically any way that's going to let people know more about you and not just what you're selling. You know, you can't just post highlight reels and you can't just post about, uh, you know, the good stuff.

Think about like all the people that you look up to, anybody that you, any mentors or books that you've read, every single one of those people has a story and they've had to overcome some serious shit. So it's okay that you're posting about those things, right? Um, so post about your day today, post a day in the life. Number two, you could post testimonials.

Testimonials are always a good way to grow your business. It's a really great piece of content. So if you have people that you've worked with, people that have bought your product, your service, whatever it is, and you have testimonials from them, post them. And I like to post them on like a cute video with some sound.

And I like to make them pleasing to the eye so people are more likely to stay and look. I usually post those to my Instagram stories. And then third, you could go live and talk about your offers. That's a really good way for people to get to know you.

They see your personality and they can ask questions live and then save it as, you know, a long video on your Instagram. Those are three pieces of content that you could post today to promote your business. I hope that helps. Okay.

So the meat and potatoes of what I'm coming to you with today is this idea of I can't, you know, I, I hear a lot. I can't do that and I can't do that. And I'm just not that way. And I'm just, I can't post, I can't post TikToks.

I can't post reels. I can't, can't, can't, can't, can't. Okay. Well then if that is the truth, then first of all, like from a coaching perspective, I can't, I can't help you.

I can't help people that are not willing to help themselves. But also I would want to ask like, what can you do? Because it's so easy to be like, oh, I can't. But the reason you're saying you can't is not actually because you can't.

The reason you're saying you can't is because you've seen other people do it in what you perceive to be better than you. And I guarantee you, when that person started doing what you perceive to be better than you, they sucked at it. I know for sure when I first started my Instagram, like if you were to go on a deep dive into the Instagram of Danielle on the daily, you would see very quickly how far I've come. And the content that I posted has gotten better over the years and everyone has to start at the beginning.

And so if you're coming into the game and you're trying to promote your business using social media, using email marketing, using anything that's social or digital, and you're like, oh, I can't do that because it doesn't, it's not going to look as good as that person. Well, no, it probably won't. If I'm being honest, it's not going to look as good as that person. Why?

Because that person has more time under their belt. They have more wisdom. They have more practice. They've heard a lot more rejection than you have.

And you kind of have to like accept that that is normal. That's, that is the way that you grow, right? Too often, too many people are coming into things because they have experience in some other area. So let's say you've had a job your whole life that you hate and it sucked the life out of you.

And now you're in your mid thirties and you're like, I want to switch it. I want to start my own business. And then you get into your ego or your ego starts to take over and says things like, well, you can't just start TikTok. You can't just start Instagram.

Why? Because you didn't start it when you were 20, like the kids of today? Well, guess what? They also had to learn how to use it.

The difference is they decided that they were going to and by you sitting here saying all the things you can't do, what you're actually doing is just preventing yourself from growing and you're preventing your business from taking off. Period. That's what's happening. And if you go to hire a coach, right?

I get this a lot in coaching. I'll have people come to me and they'll say, I don't really know what I want to do. I just know that I'm drawn to you and I'd like to, you know, I'd like to pay for invest in your energy and your time. And I'm like, well, I, I can't work with you because I don't, I, I'm not all of it.

You can and receive a discount. I will be back on Friday with another episode. I hope you have a beautiful week. Wherever you are in the world, I hope you have a beautiful week and we'll chat soon.

Love ya!
