There are a number of critical problems with our education system and society. First, our education system is not preparing students for the real world. The majority of students are not learning the practical skills they need to be successful in the workforce. Instead, they are being taught outdated information and theories that are not relevant to the 21st century. This is turn is causing our society to lag behind other developed nations. Second, we are not providing adequate resources to our educators. Teachers are overworked and underpaid, and as a result, they are leaving the profession in droves. This is creating a vicious cycle where there are not enough qualified teachers to teach the students, and the students are not receiving the education they deserve. Third, our society is becoming increasingly polarized. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. This is resulting in an increase in crime and violence, as well as a decrease in social mobility. We need to address this issue head-on if we want to create a more inclusive and just society. Fourth, we are not doing enough to support our youth. Too many young people are falling through the cracks and not receiving the help they need to be successful in life.
