Christmas can promise family, rest and joy, yet leave people lonely and disappointed. God’s promise does not fail. Jesus was born in Bethlehem as the promised King, and His suffering, resurrection and glory confirm that the prophets pointed to Him. He came because humanity’s greatest need is forgiveness, which only a Saviour could provide.
