The Prophecy (AKA Baby War Criminal)

from Progressively Horrified

A movie which could only possibly be made by a writer/director because if another person had their hands on it, it would absolutely be a half hour shorter. The pacing is bad. The story is bonkers. The lead characters are boring. The film quality is poor. Their depiction of Native Americans is pretty racist. The politics are extremely suspect. BUT BOY DID THEY KNOW HOW TO CAST SOME MURDER ANGELS! Christopher Walken is Gabriel, a rogue angle on a mission to start a new war in heaven. Viggo Mortenson is Lucifer. You think you know what that looks like by reading that sentence? I promise you don't. Is he sexy? I guess that depends on your response to being threatened with eating your mother's feces. We've all got our things, right? Tom Ellis he ain't. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★ JOIN JEREMY'S ZOOP CAMPAIGN AND HELP MAKE GREAT COMICS! https://zoop.gg/c/slay Take our listener survey: http://bit.ly/progressivelyhorrified-survey Sign up to support Progressively Horrified on Patreon for as little as $5 a month and get bonus episodes! https://www.patreon.com/c/progressivelyhorrified Hosted on Acast. Explicit DWT: Drinking While Talking Blake & Sheeler Every episode of DWT: Drinking While Talking, Jill Blake & Wade Sheeler discuss movies and music, new and old, with some forays into pop culture from the past, as well as wherever the spirit takes them, as they get progressively more “spirited.” Whether they’re delving into classic film, desert island picks, quizzes, games or misguided monologues, the question will always remain, how far can they get, until everything falls apart? As the editors of TheRetroSet.com, the premiere clearing house for all things classic, you can catch their deep dives into movies, music and lifestyle. Sober. Their hope on DWT is to take the pretension out of discussing the classics, as they make their way from the early 20thcentury through modern day by way of film, culture, politics, through the prism of their unique and personal lens. And booze. Explicit Horrified Chicken Horrified Chicken Horror movie enthusiast lightheartedly reviews horror films with her non horror fan husband. Explicit
