The Prophecy and the Blessing

This week, Bishop Rodgers teaches from Luke 2:25-39 on "The Prophecy & the Blessing." God does not forget His people, nor does He forget His promises to them. His promises are not always fulfilled in quite the way we expect. God always confirm His Word. He used Simeon and Anna to confirmed that Jesus was the Light of the World. God promised Simeon that he would see the "consolation of Israel." Simeon was faithful with the things of God. He was righteous and devout before God. Simeon was not free from trouble. Even in his old age, Simeon still looked to God's future with brightness and hope. Jesus is the light of our (believers) life. He is our courage, our enabler, and our hope.
