The Proving Ground

THE PROVING GROUND Not even I can comprehend A train wreck of emotion Into the dark void I descend This grey matter is a prison From which I can't escape Destruction of thy self Evidently mind rape. Undeserved of your love A statement so profound I will push you to the edge Onto the proving ground. Emotionally contorted My soul begins to bleed Darkness overwhelms Becoming selfish in my need Within the devil's grasp I must overcome this plight For even in despair A greater hope will come to light. Undeserved of your love A statement so profound I will push you to the edge Onto the proving ground. -Marty Andersson BlueToad remixes an acepella by Marty Andersson, on their rather raunchy alternative guitar riff and rocking the loghouse from Québec to Australia. A great vocals on powerful lyrics from Andersson, married to BlueToad's steady killer drums, and ripping guitars for the occasion of their second trans-continental collaboration. This spokenword piece is the beginning of a powerful new sound! The All Out poetry of artists who have something to say, if you are ready to hear them!
