In this episode of Behind the Paywall, I venture into the world of Microfinance with Premal Shah, one of the founders of the global non-profit Kiva.org. We discuss how Premal moved from being one of the earliest employees of PayPal to one of the founders of Kiva. We also discuss how strangers from around the world make loans to entrepreneurs in low-income countries and why the repayment rates of these loans are so high.
