The Purpose and Essence of Prayer (Part 2)

When we study the topic of prayer, we must understand that it is God's will for our prayer lives to have impact. In other words, we are supposed to receive answers when we pray. There is a right way and a wrong way to pray, and during His ministry, Jesus identified the wrong ways to pray. When we know what prayer is not, we will be less likely to fall victim to religion-based prayer instead of grace-based prayer. Prayer that is acceptable to God comes from the heart, and the attitude of our heart is more important than the words we say. It is a two-way conversation with our Creator.
