The Purposeful Defeat And Destruction Of A Hidden Agenda, Part #1

This sermon is a very purposeful one written to encourage each one of you not to allow "pride", which is sin in the flesh and the spirit, to destroy you from serving God, and working against the Kingdom of God. God said in his word that pride is sinful and he hates pride. Hubris is a Greek person who was filled with fatal-pride to the extreme so much so that the gods of that day punished him numerous times, even as the enemy of God, the devil Satan, was cast out of heaven for pridefulness. Pride leads to destruction and death. The knowledge of how sinful pride works through the 7 examples given will help you to be constantly aware of the fatalness of pride. The reverential fear of God helps to remove sinful pride from the hearts of God's chosen people and those who chose to come to know him to serve him with awe of his person and many attributes. God is awesome as our God and gave us his Holy written Word to know him and how to love and respect who he is with all of his glory. Fear of God can be a terrifying thing, but reverential fear is glorious and brings great rewards. You will find some of the benefits listed in this sermon. I hope you will learn to serve God with reverential fear which will help you to defeat and destroy the many hidden agendas which life presents in the personalities of all those who choose to live life apart from God's holy written word. We have all that we need from God to know how to live and exist upon this beautiful place, a place filled with many wonderful things in life to discover about how God created this earth and all things within it. The most important thing in life is living a purposeful life with the love of God towards him, and all those around us without fatal pride. Remember, to use the weapons of your warfare and put on the whole armour of God to defeat and destroy all hidden agendas. And one day you will be so glad that you did.
