The PurposeGirl Podcast Episode 083: Supporting Teenage Girls
from YES, WOMAN (formerly PurposeGirl): Real conversations for women ready for MORE - More aliveness, more purpose, more pleasure, more power to create the life you want. · host Carin Rockind: Purpose Coach, Women's Positive Psychology Expert, and Happiness Entrepreneur
Teenage girls face so many pressures from family, dating and social lives, school, trying to prepare for the future (maybe trying to get into a good college or get a good job), and more. As a teenage girl I definitely struggled with anxiety and panic attacks, and this is growing more and more common, and at earlier ages as well. In today's episode I talk about some of the pressures that teenage girls face and what we, as concerned and supportive adults, can do to help them not only survive but thrive. If you happen to be listening to this episode the day it's released, you can register for the free online event that I'm leading for Women's Global Happiness Day (http://www.purposegirl.com/happy).
