Blige, John Legend,Drake).Clark is also the owner of the longest running artist development musicprogram in Los Angeles called VocalizeU.  VocalizeU is a 10-Day ArtistIntensive program that brings hundreds of singers, artists, songwriters andproducers every year from all over the world to learn from the industries elite.In addition to running Hitmakers and VocalizeU, Clark also managesKeke Palmer and Melody Thornton.Big Billy Clark started out his career at Def Jam Recordings in 1994when then CEO Russell Simmons recruited him into the west coast office of theNY based company. Clark hustled his way from an intern to Senior Director ofA&R / West Coast Office Manager. After 9 years at his post at Island Def Jam,Clark ventured out and decided to learn a new facet of what his artists do…Touring. He started Tour Managing and traveled around the world for almost 3years before he was brought into Atlantic Records as an A&R by the labelsPresident Craig Kallman.In 2006 Clark was then offered an executive A&R position at Sony Musicwhere he developed and signed new artists, as well as worked with the otherA&R team on the labels roster. After a couple of years at Sony, Clark felt therewas a void in artist development. 2010, He was brought onboard to run aproduction company for The Black Eyed Peas' Printz Board called Beets & Produce, and eventually became the GM at The Writing Camp, which housedsongwriters and producers responsible for hit songs such as Beyonce's "Halo", Rihanna "SOS", Hot Chelle Rae's "Tonight Tonight", and Jennifer Hudson’s“Think Like A Man”. Clark also was a talent producer on The Hub's hit TV showMajors & Minors, in addition to handling music supervision and clearance for allmusic in the show. All of this lead up Clark joining Hitmakers as Exec. VP in2015 as well and managing artists such as Christina Milian, Keke Palmer,Melody Thornton and numerous others. I'd Love To Hear Your Thoughts!!
