Beats with bits Podcast Sergio Miranda Some hypnotic, dark and beautifully crafted beats for your ears!Sergio Miranda, a Mexico-born Belgium resident, found his passion for the world of vinyl, turntables and the DJ culture at the lawless warehouses and outdoor parties that took the streets of Mexico City in the late 80s.His love for those early house / acid / techno sounds and the dark electronic melodies from new wave and rock bands such as New Order, Depeche Mode and The Cure, meant he soon started working as a lighting technician before getting his first taste behind the decks in the early 90s.As of that moment and for more than a decade, he has enjoyed a long and varied DJ career: he has played in many clubs in Mexico City, hotels in Cancun, the Dominican Republic and Fuerteventura Spain. In conjunction with this, Sergio has also held the position of sound and lighting technician for several musical theatre productions. After a few years of self-imposed abstinence and building on the existing technical possibilities, Rev. Hooman Rev. Hooman Hello friend! I’m Rev. Hooman—“Rev.” as in Revelation (and also Revenue, Revised, and Revvvv!).I craft inner mystical journeys through sound—blending Melodic House, Deep House, Afro House, NuDisco, and Techno (because at heart, I’m still a techno kid).My sets are rooted in tribal and international rhythms, shaped by my Middle Eastern and Latin influences growing up. Every performance is a ritual of presence—designed for embodiment, release, and emotional resonance.I love creating music in live, immersive environments, where I can record and blend the crowd energy into the mix. Since I’m usually behind the decks, I don’t always get to chat face-to-face for long (the track must be changed!)—but when I revisit the set on headphones, I often discover spaces I didn’t even know I opened.I’ve had the honor of opening for some of my musical heroes: GoldCap, Sabo, Be Svenden, Bedouin, Unders, Britta, Miyagi, The Soul Brothers, and Behrouz. If you’re creating a space for movement, magic, and Uncut Poetry presents Red River Sessions Sunil Bhandari Poetry is pleasure which reaches the soul. It reveals, disturbs, stirs, revives. Anyone who has read, and lived, a poem is a person who has been touched inside out.But how often have we read a poem and wondered about the poet behind those words. Who wrote those poems which we love so much? What did they go through in their lives to enable them to write the words which  touch us and make us better persons. Welcome to Red River Sessions, India's podcast of poets & their poetry. Presented by Uncut Poetry, the poetry podcast, & Red River, the acclaimed independent poetry publishing house.
