Full confession, I'm a deep house DJ but I like pushing the boundaries when it comes to friends! For Amhad this year, I downloaded about 20 Persian tracks assuming there would be 2 other Persian DJs but the weather was bad and so I played a full 5 hours of what little 6&8 and even though it was out of my comfort zone, I haven't seen a crowd dance and sing that hard in a LONG time! What's it like to be the opener? It's great because you get the room ALL to yourself! LOL. I was tired and beat, but this gig was the best of them all. I got to play to a packed house at Audio SF on May 18th, 2019. All my favorite people were there and most of the mixes were tolerable!
