The Queen of Show Talk Angela Butler

from SHOW TALK WITH ANGELA BUTLER · host Angela Butler

On The Queen of Show Talk With Angela Butler I will be discussing ,the verdict for the three white men who murdered Mr. Ahmaud Arbery. Arbery was 25 years old when he was murdered. The Judge Timothy Walmsley ruled after hearing the defense, who tried to convince him that live without possibility of parole was unjust.  I believe this case puts me  in mind of Mr. James Byrd Jr. case , who was tied and dragged for three miles behind a pick up truck. At that time I interviewed the progetee of Mr. Dick Gregory "Mr. Ricky Jason. Two of the three men were put to death. William King on 2020 and Lawrence Brewer were the first two white men to be sentenced to death for murdering  a black human being. The third Shawn Berry will be eligible for parole 2038 and has beebn in prisonand jail since 1998. The judge's ruling was Greg Mcmichael life with 20 years which is fifty years. His son Travis McMichael life plus 20 years which is 50 years. Both without the possibility of parole. Also William "roddie" Bryan Life with the possiblity of parole. These men did noy receive the ultimate penalty like the defense argued becuase the ultimate would have been death row.
