The Question of Sanity (Dennis Nilsen, part 2)

from We Would Be Dead · host wewouldbedeadpodcast

On February 8th, 1983, the residents of number 23 Cranley Gardens, located in a small North London suburb eagerly awaited the arrival of drain cleaning company Dyno-rod. The clogged drains had been a nuisance for a while and resolving this situation would surely be a huge relief; when the drain cleaner arrived, however, he would discover one of the most horrifying scenes in British true crime history. This discovery would launch investigators down the bizarre and sadistic trail of narcissist and serial killer, Dennis Nilsen. In part two of our investigation we explore Dennis's confession, conviction, trial and incarceration. In typical WWBD fashion we also dive deep into Dennis's psychological evaluations and tell the stories of three of his surviving victims.  Click to Learn More The Real Des Documentary   WWBD Merch Buy your WWBD swag here!  Join the Conversation
