The Race to the Back of the Line with Calvin Murray

from The House We Build · host Becky and Don Vasquez, Build His House

In this episode of The House We Build Podcast, we dive into a powerful conversation on what it truly means to live in relationship with one another through the lens of empathy, proximity, expectations, and good judgment. Special guest Calvin Murray shares his personal testimony of coming into his own relationship with Jesus and the profound lesson that following Christ is a race to the back of the line. It’s about putting others before ourselves and loving even those who may be difficult to love.Calvin challenges us to reflect on how we engage with others—how we serve, how we react when we are offended, and how we handle judgment. Through this raw and heartfelt discussion, we explore the importance of living out the teachings of Jesus, serving others, and loving with humility, especially in the face of adversity. Join us as we reflect on how to truly love one another—both friends and strangers alike—and build a house of grace, empathy, generosity, and good judgement based on the teaching of Christ.Calvin Murray and his family are locals to the Augusta area, where they serve their community through fellowship in and out of the church walls, loving their neighbors, on the pickle ball court, in sports, and through their business Egoscue® of Atlanta & Augusta. Through the Egoscue® Method they focus on identifying and correcting muscular imbalances and joint misalignments in the body to eliminate chronic pain, improve physical alignment, and enhance overall movement. That way, people can get back to doing the things they love to do with one another!
