Hey there, I apologize for the technical I have because you know, uh, this speaker actually looks like so. I'm gonna go ahead and find a lot of stuff, because I can't go to the bathroom. I'm really hoping in and out. How about a floating city by Josh Winnaberg.
I'm like, oh my god. Low, low, low, low, low, low, low. This is so interesting for you. I know I'm sorry.
Okay. So here's a floating city by Josh Winnaberg. So, sorry about that. Um, I say I like that.
It's a nice calming piece. Well, I officially moved my radio lab report operation to the Young Lab, the big one, not the baby one, is a little louder here, so you pick up a lot of the rockets in the background. Apparently, the CW RT-types are the louder ones, which says a little more than I originally intended, seeing as I can also be directed at me. RT-type, louder, get it, radio, hm, yeah, count up all the decibels, whatever.
Anyway, welcome back to the radio lab report where I get to talk to you about our progress in the CW radio business. So far, nobody. Nobody this year has submitted anything. We had a couple of submissions in 2014, and we were very close to actually getting a lot more people to, but so far nothing.
And really, at this point, it's really up to you guys now to make programs and to continue the radio station, because I cannot hold this up on my own. No, it's really up to you. I'm just here to keep the idea of fresh in your mind. These shows that I make, they're only to keep your attention on the radio station so you keep it alive.
So far, I'm the only person actually in charge of the radio station. The only person running or directing it. If you want to submit a program, go ahead or if you want to come into a radio lab or to make a program. That's now, or both open-box during Wednesdays always.
This time, we're actually going to start having them in the Yum Lab instead, because computers and the baby Yum Lab hate me. But I'm working on the daily for tomorrow, which would be interesting. Lots of good news and some bad as well. Hopefully, I have lunch money by then.
So, yeah. And I'm no reporter, so remember, somebody used to take over that. Also, tuning today at three, so just 15 minutes after this closes for D-block Live, just 45 minutes of me doing my stuff on D-block. I'll be doing some reporting, walking around the campus, seeing what I can find, even.
I'll report on my progress in other radio things. I'm also working on some classical hours and some performance hours as well. Speaking of which, the student works radio special for performance hours. It's coming up soon.
I've got no submissions, no emails, no nothing about it. I guess I didn't allow it to teach enough. If you play an instrument, sing, have something to perform, you have to music, be poems and stuff, either record yourself doing an incentive to me or email me, and we can arrange a recording time. It will be 45 minutes long, hopefully.
If we get more submissions, I can always lengthen it. If you, yeah. So, I already have, actually, I do have one submission. I forgot about Ben.
I'm sorry, Ben, if you're listening. If you play it, it's a really beautiful guitar piece. It's going to play some more today in that. And also remember that I've sent up a studio space in the musical.
I have one of the practice rooms set up for a recording. It's the one that doesn't have a piano in it. Sorry. We can always move the microphone.
It is a horrible field mic for all. Anyway, yeah. So if you want to report something, anything really to do with the radio contact me or just slide on by during D-box. It's for my school service.
So feel free to come on in. Even if I'm in the midst of supporting, I'm not. Nothing like a movie. So, Chris is in the room, I think.
I'm looking around for him right now. He just exited. But it's so close to streaming about 10 minutes. But earlier today, we had 8 in into the studio.
It's very nice to him to visit, which is looking for his recording now. The bacteria, he had some very interesting thoughts to share. He wanted him to just take the mic from go with it. It was sort of an interesting experience.
There were some thoughts by Eden. Thoughts about leprechauns. What do we think of? Do we think of gold?
I mean, gold is a valuable. We learn about values in all sorts of life. Life is full of values, values such as loyalty. Loyalty to friends.
You know, friends is something that everyone needs. A good friend. Friends are there for you. They make things funny.
What else is funny? It can sometimes not be funny. Sometimes things can go very serious, very fast. But in all of that, there lies beauty and structure.
Structure in the trees, structure in nature. In nature, we see structure in the form of cells. Cells that make up larger organisms. Organisms which expand over the realm and fill our lives with joy.
Thank you. This has been Ian Collegette with Real Talk. Very deep. He also insisted on interviewing a random person, or not so random person, depending who you are out there, in the room at the moment of recording.
So here he is again interviewing. Thoughts about leprechauns. I'm very sorry about that. That was wrong recording.
I should have probably renamed these. Anyway, here's the other recording. Sorry. Okay.
So this is Martine DeGrief. I have a little bit of an interview as I said. Sorry, can you pronounce that for us? Martine DeGrief.
DeGrief. DeGrief. DeGrief. DeGrief.
DeGrief. DeGrief. Okay. Okay.
Martine, first question. Why the orange shirt today? How are you feeling? I have this orange shirt on today because I felt it went nicely with it.
It was a good contrast between the blue pants. So do you think you know sign about fashion? I don't know. Maybe.
Maybe not. I just kind of found it. In my drawer, it was relative. It's clean, so I put it on.
Actually, I see a paint stain on it on the right side. You really don't. Okay. Well, that's your opinion.
Anyways. How are you feeling today? Pretty good. Pretty tired.
Pretty tired. What was that? Doing a lot of stuff. Kind of stuff.
School? Every day. Oh, really? Yeah, I got a school every day too.
That's good. Pretty cool place. So, Martine, I see you wearing a G-Shock watch in the color white with red trim. Why did you choose that color combination?
Because I like the white watch and I didn't really see the red trim, but I like it anyway, so I bought it. Wow. Interesting fashion choice. And really evokes a certain subtle yet powerful statement on color combination.
And the role of watches in our society today. Is there anything else you would like to say during? Certainly. Literally nothing.
I just, no. I was caught by surprise, so I had nothing else to say. Okay. Well, it's been in.
Martine to Graf. Graf? To Graf? To Graf?
To Graf? To Graf? With real talk. Wait, real quick, Martine.
Martine, see if you can pronounce my last name. Coloshe. Damn, he did it. And if you're out there, we love ya.
Anyway, last minute news for sign off. I'm hoping to rework the bleables that make it bleables for those who don't know are those little things in between programs that tell you that you're listening to a certain station. Because how often do we know if you're listening to radio station? We find it to say so.
So the following are the two that I made at the beginning, at the launch of Radio CSW at the beginning of the year in September. I recorded them on just a regular computer mic. Here's what I named, Bleble, Underscore 1. This is Radio CSW, CSW's online radio station.
I've said I didn't use that one a lot. And you can see why it was sort of minimalistic and sort of a quality. Here's the other one. I named Leble Underscore 2.
You're listening to Radio CSW, CSW's online radio station. Online at Radio CSW.blogspot.com. For those of you who listen frequently, which I assume are a lot of people, you may have realized that I use that constantly. It's probably most completely bleable.
But I will be reworking these, re-mastering these with my new microphone that I got for the station. And if you want to say Bleble or anything, just contact me at j-cultsmen2016 at CSW.org. Or throw a case of station at Radio CSW Studio at CSW.org. Don't get confused by the others.
There are other emails that indicate radio, there are other attempts at radio, including many of them, but some of them are actually not sort of mysterious. We'll do a little story on that later. But since it is 242, and I do have to get to the studio before D-Block starts by signing up here, thanks for listening to Radio CSW.
