The Rage in Farage
from Quiet Riot Hosted by Alex Andreou, Naomi Smith, Kenny Campbell
The murder of Henry Nowak has raised a great many questions because of the terrible way Henry was treated by police as he lay dying. Henry's family have responded with remarkable dignity to this dreadful affair but the same cannot be said of elements of the political class. Naomi Smith and Alex Andreou look more closely at the politics of rage and, in particular, Nigel Farage's call for public 'rage' and his history of (apparently) trying to whip up anger. They are joined by Christabel Cooper, Director of Research at ThinkLabour and Visiting Fellow at King's College London. Plus, it's the debut of a brand new feature ... God! Less America! Because the US is such a bizarre place these days, some of the maddest stuff goes unreported. Well, not any more! ***SPONSOR US AT KO-FI.COM/QUIETRIOTPOD*** • Support the Jo Cox Foundation • The full Farage video from which the post-credit point is taken can be found here • We have put together a BLUESKY STARTER PACK, if you would like to join us there • Email us at [email protected] • Or visit our website www.quietriotpod.com Brought to you by Naomi Smith, Alex Andreou and Kenny Campbell.
