The Rain of God's Blessings: Deliverance from Ignorance

Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it" - Proverbs‬ ‭10:22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Bible Text: Joel‬ ‭2:32 NKJV‬‬ 32. ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭And it shall come to pass that  whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the Lord calls. INSPIRATION: Have you ever heard or read the saying, "When I count my blessings, I count you twice?" Look at Joel 2: 28 again, you'd see a double portion blessing: salvation and deliverance. Permit me to focus today's blessing on the latter alone. "For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said..." The deliverance is not something imaginary; it is as the Lord has said! Dare to believe it when God said it. But in case you still want to doubt, He has magnified His word above His name (Psa.138:2), to show the premium God attaches to His word. Deliverance is not that manifestation and falling down we've come to associate it with. It is rather coming to the accurate knowledge of the truth (John 8:32; Prov. 11:9b). If you fall under the anointing during a 'deliverance' session and rise up thereafter still ignorant, you wasted your fall. Hence, God says, "The lawful captive shall be delivered and the prey of the terrible one set free (Isa. 49: 24-25). How? Through exposure to the truth! Many of us have believed in a lie for far too long, and have enslaved ourselves to these lies. This, God intends to end by blessing you with deliverance from ignorance this new year. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: How does it make you feel to think that God doesn't want you to stay in bondage? The blessings that come with deliverance gives you freedom to operate in dimensions that you once had limitations to. PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive with gratitude the blessings of Your deliverance, and walk in the fullness of all you've delivered me from and into. My mind is set free and loaded with the right information to thrive to Your own glory, in Jesus name.
