The Rain of God's Blessings! (Part 1)

Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it" - Proverbs‬ ‭10:22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Bible Text: Joel‬ ‭2:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ 23. Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. INSPIRATION: God's blessings transcends the boundaries of physical material possession. It is a consciousness; a knowledge deep within your spirit that stems from your personal relationship with God. Proverb tells us that God’s blessings enriches without adding sorrow to it. It follows therefrom that anything that enriches you is qualified to be termed a blessing. In the next couple of days, we shall look at some ways God desires to enrich you with His blessings, starting with the blessings of a double portion. Firstly, scriptures tell us, "‭‭Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be theirs" (Isa. ‭61:7‬). Then Joel tells us, "God will cause the former and latter rain to come down for you" (Joel 2:23). There's a reservoir of former and latter blessings that God is set to release upon you. You may want to ask when? Now! Right now. This is the set time; the divinely appointed time. You'll experience a shift and the heavens will be torn open over you. Everything you've experienced and witnessed was a build up to what's about to be unveiled. There's a transformation that's about to happen that would dwarf and wipe out all the failures and pains you ever had to deal with. It's the blessing! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: When God is set to do a thing, He gives a prompting in the Spirit that notifies and prepares you. You've just been notified. It's up to you to prepare for it! PRAYER: Dear Lord, my heart, my spirit and entire being awaits Your rain of double portion blessings as Your word has said. You're not a man that lies, therefore, do Your bidding in this matter, in Jesus name.
