Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it" - Proverbs‬ ‭10:22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Bible Text: Joel‬ ‭2:25 ‭NKJV‬‬ 25. ‭‭‭‭So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. INSPIRATION: Restoration has become an overused word in Christian parlance and in Christian circles that it has almost lost its original meaning, so much so that it now only refers to gaining back what one lost. Whilst that sounds good, God's idea of restoration is to collapse time for you so you can aggregate and appropriate all that you could have had in one breath if nothing had gone wrong. God takes you back in time to where you fell or lost out and looks ahead to what you would have been but for your setbacks, and releases grace and speed unto you to amass all in one fell swoop. Restoration is one of the ways by which God blesses His people. He brings it when they think all hope is lost. To restore, is to cancel the evidences of your past, giving you a clean slate. The Psalmist said it felt like a dream when God turned again the captivity of zion (Psa. 126). Your miraculous turnaround will even be more dramatic. You'd surpass the heights you'd have attained before life happened. God will lift you up by His mighty right arm and place you where you belong. He will cause life to ease off for you and crown you with beauty, splendor and honour. You'll sing a new song soon. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Restoration separates you from your past and brings you into your future. Discern the moment and aligning with God's timed agenda will serve your best interests. Everything you ever lost will be gained back. PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your word declares there's time for every purpose under heaven. Now is my time of restoration and I'm in alignment with You to bring about my miraculous turnaround. May You move unhindered and be glorified, in Jesus name.
