We are outside the sequence of the Red-Letter Bible Study here, but I wanted to address this. If you get some of your religious content from social media (especially YouTube), then I’m sure you’ve caught the rapture buzz. The latest, among many is the feast of trumpets and September 23rd 2025. This idea rests on two things that I don’t think you can really backup with scripture. 1. 7-year tribulation is based on a bad interpretation of Daniel 9 that continues to persist. 2. Conflating the word ”tribulation” with ”wrath”. These are two distinct words in the Greek I’m going to go out on a limb (with Bible in hand) and tell you that this is not prediction is false. Let me go one further. There is NEVER going to be a pre-tribulation rapture! People are not going to suddenly disappear. We aren’t living in Hollywood! Yes, there is a rapture... but when?
