"The Raq"

In the Season 15 finale of TNE – The Nerdvana Experience, hosts Ken Ledesma and Calvin welcome back special guest Raquel ("The Raq") for her second consecutive appearance, stepping in while co-host James is away taking care of personal matters. The episode kicks off with energetic banter, lighthearted ribbing over previous audio issues, and personal catch-ups. To help the audience get to know Raquel better, Calvin puts her on the spot with a quick Q&A. She shares her roots in Memphis—revealing that she and Calvin grew up in the same neighborhood and attended the same junior high—before detailing her simple routine of working for the post office, gaming, and watching anime. Calvin then puts Ken on the spot with a dilemma, forcing him to choose between ever listening to Michael Jackson again or choosing Raquel, leading to a hilarious debate on loyalty and comedic "punishments." Turning to main topics, Ken plays a podcast clip featuring Akon debating gender power dynamics and biblical roles. The trio discusses the creation of man and woman, equal partnership, and how men and women navigate relationships and reason differently. Calvin uses scripture from Genesis to explain his perspective on biblical authority, while Raquel shares her take on how women support each other. come follow and join the show - https://linktr.ee/tne
