THE RAYS WIN THE PENNANT (RTR Ep. 13)
from Rays The Roof Hosted by Just Baseball Media
For the second time in franchise history, the Tampa Bay Rays are headed to the World Series after defeating the Houston Astros 4-3 in the 2020 American League Championship Series. On this latest episode of Rays The Roof, the gang looks back on what was a roller coaster series, with the Rays surrendering a 3-0 lead to the Astros, who forced a Game 7, but the Rays prevailed, winning 4-2. We discuss Randy Arozarena's rise to stardom as he won ALCS MVP honors, breaking the rookie postseason home run record set by former Rays great Evan Longoria in 2008. Mostly, we celebrate the accomplishments of this team that is now that much closer to history. Thanks for listening and follow RTR on all of our social media accounts @RaysTheRoofTB! As always, Rays Up!
